Without bragging too much I think I succeeded quite well picking out the best looks from the shows at London fashion week - the garments that unravel the whole picture of the collection, but also are eye-catching.
Erdem are the masters of prints but even the master can be influenced by other designers it seems, in this case: Mary Katrantzou. Still everything felt fresh and feminine, it seems purple will be one of autumn's it-colours (it's safe to say it's a trend; this colour has been seen in several shows). I felt they used lace very cleverly in a yellow nuance but they also incorporated into other fabrics.
When I saw the first look coming down the catwalk, I instantly was mesmerized by a cool fur with unusual colours like turquoise. I don't want to plan too far into the future but such a hot fur can't be forgotten, it's on my wish-list for next winter.

After Katrantzou's last season, and now her sold out collaboration with Topshop, she's on everyones lips. This is surly because of her digital prints being surreal masterpieces, they've become tremendously popular. There are many designers lining up to copy this print trend.The statement dress that blew my mind was the green maze-dress (photo above), it's spectacular and I want to see it up-close.
