Helmut Lang A/W- 12After I've looked through all of the shows comes the hard task; to select the best ones which means only picking five looks (I think five is a reasonable number and more importantly the image will not be too large for the page). It's even more difficult when a collection is as fierce as Helmut Lang's or beautiful as Peter Som's then you really have to study each garment. Lang creates for a woman who wants to be edgy and cool in the street, wearing a lot of leather and thigh-high suede boots. From a distance the red and black pattern looks like splattered paint and it's breathtaking, I got really inspired.
Peter Som A/W-12When the first looks came down the runway everyone must have thought: is this really an autumn/winter collection? Because there were lot of white dresses, two-layered with a transparent, shimmery fabric. Later he showed looks with furs, which explains how to keep warm when wearing an angel-like dress mentioned above.
