Valentine's Day started off with a stroll alongside the water, and who knew squattered pieces of ice floating on the water surface could look so beautiful. The view is truly stunning when your standing on the same side as the castle, you can see the National Gallery and Grand Hotel. This part of town and the architecture gives me some satisfaction when I'm longing for Paris.
We later visited the Swedish castle, which has the perfect atmosphere for this day in particular. While walking in the beautiful halls one easily dreams. What if a Swedish designer would have a fashion show in this magnificent historic place, it would be like Paris Fashion Week. Why has no one thought of this...?
Afterwards we went to Studio L2 where a photo exhibition is taking place, colored photos by the last Tsar's photographer , taken in the beginning of the 20th century. The gallery is housed in a small space but it's worth taking a trip to Old Town to see it.
The evening we spent watching a movie and eating different cheeses and drinking wine. As desert we dipped strawberries in melted white chocolate.
